Quote Of The Week - Sting Like A Bee!

Posted by admin On August - 24 - 2009

Muhammad Ali

Elegance is not a crime, to say the least. Who would have ever thought that one of the greatest fighters of all time would also have a brilliant talent for words? I like to believe that all of us in the industry have ‘grace’ to provide services with a friendly smile. On the other hand, when it comes down to business deals and management you must sting like a bee if you want things done, in certain cases.

The one word that comes to mind is – diplomacy. If you practice this, then things really will turn out for the best. So before you decide to make a move, just remember, if you do it with diplomacy you will be as graceful as the butterfly, but not without the attitude of a ‘bee.’

Hatel Bhakta | Mood: Feeling like a butterfly

As you walk up to a mirror you start seeing a reflection. Another face stares back. It’s not the face that you are used to seeing. This one is different and rather gentle in physique. You continue to stare at the soft reflection of what appears to be of someone whom you can trust and value. There is a sense of stillness in this individual. You finally make the courage to question who it is you are seeing in your reflection, only to realize that it is you. Yes, this is how the world sees you. It isn’t in anyway the same way that you had envisioned yourself. Somehow you are more attractive than you first thought. You can see things you never saw within yourself, such as character, value, and a sense of self. You are everything you make yourself out to be.

You continue to stare at the reflection and take a few steps back. The reflection changes. You see a rather aggressive character with a lost smile. You start to consider the moments when you become more aggressive and realize that you too float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee. The only difference is, that you make it work for you.

Creative Intellects At LA’s Largest Mixer

LA Largest Mixer

The largest LA Mixer was last week and the Creative Intellects, Inc., team decided to storm the Shrine Auditorium and see what the latest and greatest that the City of Angels has to offer.

We were there before the big rush so we were able to check out the coolest booths and sample some amazing desserts. Seriously, if you did not attend it’s a bummer. We are glad that we did! After cruising around we found a few noteworthy spots that we believe really shine! These products/services are worth a double take.

Xtreme Desserts

We saw a long line of people waiting to sample the goodies, the most popular “Red Velvet Cookies” , which are truly nothing short of just amazing!! If you are a fan of red velvet cake, then this cookie is just the perfect treat for your special events. I know that they have different options, but who can resist red velvet cake? I was tempted to go back for another cookie, but I didn’t want to be greedy.

The bonus is that they have an online service for your convenience. We give this our two thumbs up!

LA Weekly

If you have seen LA Weekly Magazine before, you know it is jam packed with information on art, entertainment, and music. Here is something neat for our clients that are in fashion and entertainment. We met with one of the Senior Sales Executives for LA Weekly. She gave us a lot of information and we cannot wait to build our relationship with LA Weekly. By the way, our Creative Director loves their business card. It has ‘great use of scale and proportion combined with excellent typography.’ LA Weekly wins our vote on best marketing presentation!

Can we say it is probably the most exciting booth at the LA’s Largest Mixer! We were one of the first visitors to the booth and were greeted by the most energetic individuals you will ever meet. It was such a neat experience. You get all this fun gear that everyone sports and you walk into a white room. The 360 camera and mount took tons of great action pictures of us in action. Before you know it, you have a great panoramic shot of everyone as though they were standing right next to each other. In actuality, you were all in an enclosed circle. Who would have thought?!

This is so innovative yet great for companies who want to engage their employees in team-building activities. So the next time, you are going to host an event hire this company and you will totally get your monies worth!
