Happy 2009!!!! It has become rather popular for everyone to list personal goals and the usual ‘resolutions.’ But, there are so many out there, such as our team, that take the same level of pride in setting business goals and objectives. We live in such a fast-paced society that we forget that our career is a big part of who we are, well, for most of us, anyway.

If you already make it a point to set goals, then you are one step ahead of the game. If you do not, it is okay, it is never too late!! Setting goals gives you an ongoing road map for success. It also serves as a guide in case you need to find the next best alternative, or in case you need or desire a change along the way. It is important that you consistently re-evaluate your goals on a time schedule that works for you. If you are behind, or if some circumstance got in the way of your accomplishing those goals, you can still have the opportunity to meet them at a later time.
